Our story

Le origini

Paolo Abbarchini, known as “i ‘Barba” or his grandfather, began his culinary journey in an old mill at the Fattoria di Rignana, serving those who worked in the fields surrounding soups and minestrone.
From there a succession of changes made famous La Cantinetta of Rignana still managed by his son Massimo and nephew Cosimo, who after several experiences with other local decided to bet everything on an old barn in the village of Badia a Passignano.

The new management

The restaurant, born in March 2010 as a cocktail and aperitif preparation has successfully turned into an excellent fresh seafood restaurant prepared thanks to the chef Lorenzo Abbarchini and maitre Simone Ricci; who with great pride and sacrifice can say that they have fully achieved their goal.
